Husi Beard Fun Challenge I!

A reminder to all who wish to participate, posted in the glory of... well, what's the area that's not The Hole or Whine Cellar called? We need a catchy name.

No worries if you accidentally shaved this morning and wish to participate, I suppose we can have a grace day!

For those who have to shave somewhat to be presentable at work (etc), it is acceptable to shave up to 25% of your facial hair area and still be considered a participant. Goodbye, neck beards!

I don't think shaving one's head counts against NO SHAVE NOVEMBER, either, as long as you leave your beard intact and LET THE JUSTICE FLOW.

Because NO SHAVE NOVEMBER is all about JUSTICE.

Even the ladies can participate. I'm sure there are a bunch of you who would look rather fetching with a handlebar moustache. If all your striving in front of the mirror to grow a beard is for nought, then you can compromise by letting your hair down (if applicable) and tying it in front of your face like a moustache and/or beard of JUSTICE. It will be as, if not more, just than your male counterparts' beards.

I suppose there should be photos at the end.

THE END.

the current result is "between 20 and 22". 20 because a d20 indicates how to do that, 22 because of simple area considerations (IIRC the upper bound that method gives is 22.53).

guess I'll have to come up with a better alternative option now, I should've just said, "well, you have a month!"

but sadly it'll have to be shaved for an Important Meeting tomorrow. So I guess I'm out :(

Anyhow, I can't really grow a proper beard. Too many bald spots on the face, it comes in all patchy and gross-looking.

Depends by blixco (4.00 / 4) #16 Thu Nov 01, 2007 at 11:43:23 AM EST
on how harsh the criticism will be.

"That's a pathetic effort at a beard.  I want the eight seconds back that it took for me to look at it.  It's not all one color, and there's simply nothing compelling about it.  There are people out theere who relish the idea of growing a beard, but can't, and you've insulted every one of them.  Bored now.  Go shave."

Heh heh heh.

I have a goatee, because I started facial hair when the 90's started.  Does that count, or should I let the rest of it grow in?

Come to think of it, the last time I had a full beard I looked ridiculous and my face itched.  Babies would fly from various baby conveyances and grab onto it, and try to rip it off.  Plus I live in the tropics, so a beard is a bad idea all around.

I'm totally going to do it.

at our classic serial killers:

Dahmer had a mustache at one point, but was clean shaven.

Gein was stubbly in most photos because he was in jail, but maintained clean shaven-ness.

Gacy had a mustache sometimes, but clown makeup sucks with a beard.

Bundy was a cleanshaven ladykiller.

Berkowitz had the sideburns.

Mengele and the Zodiac both clean shaven.

Yet the Good Guys (Santa, Trotsky, the Special Forces, Jesus, Moses, Grant) all have beards.
