So, Thursday, I bought a 12-pack of Goose Island with the idea that I'd have one or two after dinner in the evenings. So, as of this morning, I had consumed two of them, since I went out to a friend's going-away party last night instead of staying in for dinner.

I saw an empty one on the dining room table this morning, which I didn't mind so much, since, hey, what's a beer or two between roommates? I look in the fridge and there are three left. Who the hell takes 7 out of 12 beers that aren't his in one night? It'd be one thing if he had beer around frequently, but he mostly gets his at the bar and when he does bring some home, it's a 12-pack of Miller that's gone quickly. ie, not comparable to Goose Island and not capable of being taken in similar quantities. I mean, two or three, fine, whatever. Seven out of twelve? That's a majority. I have a pretty good guess about which roommate it is. Owing me money? Whatever. Covering my stuff in goo? I might live with that. Taking my beer? That's unacceptable. And if I don't do something, he'll probably finish it tonight.

In other news, I'll be getting my hardware geekery on today. Nothing too spectacular, just throwing in a new hard drive in one computer and putting a hard drive and DVD burner in the other (old hard drive from the other computer), will probably move the CD burner in that back to the computer I scavenged it off of, so I'll be poking around in three computers today. What fun.

Hmm, the xine engine says it's unable to load any audio drivers? I'll have to look into this. I need to play music while fixing computers.

I've got to get out of here.

That woman tricked me into seeing some dance show she's in on Sunday. Fortunately, I tricked other people into coming with me so I can make snide remarks and they can tell me when to cover my eyes. I need a chaperone, see.

Now: shower and

Update [2007-5-19 22:51:45 by gzt]: The man bought more Goose Island. All is right. The computer won't boot. Oh well.
